The starting point

Marina came to us with a real channel, not a blank one. She had been posting for years, had hundreds of videos, and already won clients from YouTube.

What she didn’t have was reach. In the 10 months before we started, her new videos averaged 391 views. The median was 228, and not one passed 2,300.

How we work

One shoot day a month, four long-form videos. Marina plans the month: the topics, the listings and the locations. We film with her on location around Oʻahu, and each shoot day gives her four YouTube videos to publish.

That steady monthly rhythm has held since August 2025.

Views held near the old level for the first nine months. Then they took off: from May 2026, every month’s new videos have drawn between 24,000 and 41,000 views.

Per video, the average went from 391 views to 4,694 for videos published since February 2026. Eleven of those passed 5,000 views and six passed 10,000. In the 10 months before we started, none did.

Subscribers grew faster still. In the 20 months before we started, the channel went from about 1,050 to 1,400 subscribers, a 33% gain. In the 14 months since, it has gone from 1,400 to 24,200, about 17 times its size, while posting at a similar pace of four to five long-form videos a month.

More than views

Views matter only if they turn into clients. In September 2026, Marina shared that a local family, a firefighter and a teacher raising a toddler, had found her through her videos.

“…found me from watching my YouTube videos about Hoʻopili.”

By the time she posted, her Hoʻopili videos published since we started working together had drawn more than 64,000 views. That’s one family we can point to directly, and the kind of result a view count can’t show on its own.

How we measured: public view counts on Marina’s long-form YouTube videos as of October 16, 2026, grouped by the month each video was published, with podcast episodes left out. Older videos have had longer to collect views, so the before-and-after gap is, if anything, understated. Subscriber figures come from Social Blade’s monthly history, which starts in November 2023; YouTube rounds public counts, so early figures are approximate.
